Paintings from the series "Conservation of the Forest" shows selected fragments of the Białowieża Primeval Forest, where I was born and raised. They are painted using conservation methods, leading to the polychrome obtaining vibrating, smudging structures similar to pointillism, known as dotting and topping. I learned these techniques while working in the renovation of murals. Presenting the Forest with methods derived from conservation is to compare the unspoiled nature, that is changing in front of our eyes, to a historic work of art, and to preserve it in a way for the next generations.
